About Me

I’m a Nervous System Regulation Specialist working through sound and voice and I’m also a mum of two teenage boys, a lifelong learner and someone who understands what it means to carry a lot.

If you’ve landed here, life may feel full… but flat.

You might be juggling work, motherhood, relationships and responsibility, constantly “on,” always giving, yet unsure when you last felt steady, inspired or fully yourself.

I know that place. Not because I studied it, but because I lived it

From Functioning… to Regulated

My early career was in the public sector, in roles that aligned with my values. But redundancy in 2003 pushed me into work that didn’t fit. I felt stuck, restless and disconnected.

Coaching helped me rebuild clarity and direction. Within months, I found work I loved and trained as a coach myself. Supporting others felt natural.

Then life shifted again.

Marriage, motherhood, work; I was doing everything “right,” yet underneath it all I felt increasingly invisible. I wasn’t falling apart. I was functioning. But I wasn’t thriving.

Mindfulness was the first doorway into deeper regulation. It helped me slow down, build awareness and reconnect with myself beneath the noise. I trained as a mindfulness teacher and began supporting others in meaningful ways.

But it wasn’t the whole picture.

Burnout, Capacity and the Turning Point

During COVID, I was holding too much: a high-stress role, homeschooling, growing my business, studying and navigating personal challenges. I burned out. Twice.

It wasn’t a motivation problem. It wasn’t a mindset problem. It was nervous system dysregulation.

For the first time, I stopped asking, “What should I be doing?” And started asking, “What do I need?”

That question changed everything.

Why Sound?

I had always understood the power of words through NLP and coaching, but sound works differently.

Sound bypasses overthinking. It works directly with the nervous system. It builds regulation, resilience and capacity from the inside out.

As I trained in sound healing and holistic voice therapy, I experienced shifts not only emotionally but physically, including measurable changes in my own hearing condition. Sound wasn’t just relaxing. It was regulating.

And when my nervous system became steadier, my voice strengthened. When my voice strengthened, my sense of identity evolved. Not back to who I was.Forward into who I am now.

Today, I integrate:

• Nervous system regulation practices

• Sound healing and sound baths in Buckinghamshire

• Holistic voice work

• 1:1 coaching

• Mindfulness and embodied tools

Everything I offer connects back to regulation. Because busy women aren’t broken. They’re often overstretched and dysregulated.

When the nervous system feels safe:

Clarity returns

Capacity increases

Boundaries strengthen

Voice becomes steadier

And from there, real change becomes sustainable.

A Grounded Approach

I don’t promise quick fixes. I don’t believe in pushing transformation. I believe in building safety first.

My work creates steady, supportive spaces for women who are ready to reconnect with themselves and step into their next chapter, not by going backwards, but by rising into who they are now.

You don’t have to do everything alone. You’re not failing. Your system may simply need support.

And that’s where we begin.
